American Textile Recycling Service (ATRS) is the nation’s fastest growing donation bin operator . ATRS was founded with a profitable, global conscious mission to help communities reuse, renew and recycle clothing, shoes, toys and household goods. We provide easy and convenient Clothing & Shoe Donation bins in neighborhoods nationwide. We are committed to keeping textiles out of landfills, creating jobs here at home, and abroad. Our unique business model leaves an extremely small carbon footprint and a better planet for the next generation.
With millions of dollars in funding donated directly to our local charitable partners to date, we are helping more communities than ever.
Our Story
The idea of helping others was the spark. A summer job helping at my mother’s charity, Houston Area Community Service, is how it all started. After just a few months of running her clothing collection drives we were helping more families than ever and even had a surplus of goods. I was hooked! And her legacy still lives on as my inspiration today.
Today we help fund more than eleven different charities nationwide. With millions of dollars donated to our local charitable partners to date, we are providing much needed funding, resources and support for philanthropic and non-profit organizations in so many neighborhoods and helping more communities than ever.
Our mission is simple and straightforward – to make donation clothing and shoes easy and convenient. That is why we have placed thousands of easily accessible, well-designed and professionally managed recycling bins in neighborhoods all across Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Denver, Phoenix, Tucson, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Los Angeles, Nashville, Atlanta, Orlando, Indianapolis and Detroit – with many more cities to come.
