EMPLOYEE PROFILE: Meet Our New Marketing Team Members!
It’s almost a new year, and with it we have two new faces at ATRS Corporate: Kendra Lewis and Sarah DeCarlo have joined our marketing department! Filling the positions of Marketing Coordinator and Digital Media Coordinator, these two ladies have big plans for 2014.
After earning an Advertising, Public Relations and Corporate Communications degree from Lindenwood University in Missouri while competing on the world level for Women’s Freestyle Wrestling, Kendra returned home and accepted a position with the Houston Chronicle. There, she developed her her love for fast paced, deadline driven environments. She worked as a Digital Media Coordinator for the newspaper and developed key skills including online reputation management, social media, and cultivating blogs and press releases. After developing and fine-tuning these skills, Kendra made her career move to the Marketing Department for ATRS as the Marketing Coordinator.
Kendra’s passion for working toward a Greener Tomorrow stems from her love of nature and the environment, developed through her time traveling throughout the US and South America. You can support Kendra’s work by attending your local ATRS events and reading her blog posts!
A graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Journalism, Sarah began her career in digital media at Precious Formals, a formal wear design house. Before that, though, she was the Lifestyles Editor of an environmental e-magazine on her college campus. This position cultivated her focus on living a sustainable lifestyle in creative ways: she shared tips on cutting consumption as well as ways to reuse and recycle clothing and dorm decor.
After gaining knowledge of the fashion industry from Precious Formals, Sarah transferred her skills to the ATRS Marketing Department. She brings a focus on upcycled trends to the Digital Media Coordinator position, in the hopes that her blogging and social media sharing will influence the lives of everyday citizens. From new moms to environmental activists (and everyone in between), Sarah believes anyone can easily develop their eco-conscience. You can follow her tips and updates on the ATRS social media pages, and read more from her in future blog posts!
