The 2nd annual Back2School Shop&Recycle Campaign sponsored by American Textile Recycling Service (ATRS) promotes sustainable shopping and charitable giving as families, high schoolers and college-bound students shop for new fashions during the third highest revenue-generating season of the year. Every item of gently used, outgrown, unwanted clothing donated benefits an area charity and provides funding for local programs and services.

Sports Authority is hosting Clothing & Shoe Recycling bins at selected area stores including Frisco, McKinney, West Plano, Hulen and East Plano. An ATRS Recycling bin is also located in Dr. Buchanan’s Office, an affiliate for the Shoes 4 Smiles drive. Every shoe collected at these locations until August 8 will be gifted by ATRS to school children at the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Dallas.

The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Dallas will also receive all direct donations from in-store giving during the Shoes 4 Smiles campaign. Sports Authority shoppers are encouraged to drop off their clothing, shoes or cash donations in exchange for a store coupon towards new gear.

Help ATRS Recycling, Sports Authority and the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Dallas reach their goal and ensure school-aged youth receive footwear for the upcoming school year.
